December 14, 2022 by Wine

I don’t require much incentive to supplement my white wine supply, but if there ever were a good excuse, this would be it. The Prisoner White Wine Company has a new limited-edition series, and with every purchase, you’re benefiting an excellent cause.

The Corrections launch includes a three-pack of unique red wines: a Viognier, Malbec, and Tempranillo, all of which boast identifies thoroughly developed by California artist Christ Burnett. Now here’s where it gets back at more interesting. Those labels were created to highlight the humanity and strength of incarcerated Americans. The proceeds from Corrections will go to Rubicon Programs, a nonprofit organization that provides services to lower-income communities and those disproportionately impacted by the United States justice system.”Chris’s mixed-media collages have an enthusiastic tone, asking viewers to look

past the stereotypes that frequently define prisoners–‘criminal,”addict,”abuser ‘– and to reckon with their mankind,”Prisoner White wine said in a declaration to Thrillist.”Each bottle comes covered in a bottle bag featuring statistics that highlight the unfairness of the criminal justice system, changing this collection of white wine into a tool to drive discussion and influence action. A brochure including a QR code accompanies the white wines, driving to more info on Burnett, providing information of the art, and discussing the job and the red wines. “According to the red wine business, 100 million Americans– consisting of millions of children– have household who is or has been
